We help provide a friendly, festive, non-threatening setting for congregations to bring new people into Christ's family. Lift High the Cross can encourage your congregation!

What are YOUR Ministry needs?

Evangelism/Outreach

The Lift High the Cross (LHTC) ministry creates major outreach and evangelism event opportunities. The LHTC ministry will assist and promote evangelism and congregational growth efforts.The LHTC balloon will dramatically draw people together and provide excellent opportunities to share the Gospel of our Lord with thousands in a community.

Outreach, evangelism, and balloon crew training will be given to assisting congregational members by the LHTC staff before the balloon's first flight in an area.

Gospel tract balloon cards can be provided by LHTC for distribution by the trained members to the viewing public. Extensive information and invitations to visit and join local congregations will be presented while the balloons are in the surrounding area. Other custom handouts can be provided by the local congregations containing service times, special programs, and other ministry opportunities.

Fundraising
There are opportunities for your congregation to raise funds while the Lift High the Cross ministry is at your congregation, district, or special event. Funds raised utilizing the LHTC ministry could go to support and promote your Lutheran Schools, youth groups, older adult ministry, choirs, or any other specific congregational needs.

Social Ministry
Spreading the Lord's work throughout the local communities is another key benefit of the LHTC ministry. The balloon will be linked to fundraising endeavors such as church and community clothing drives, filling food banks, and helping a crisis pregnancy center. The ministry will be customized to the specific needs in an area. Local media coverage will highlight your congregation's ministries.
Mission churches & School Grand Openings
The dramatic drawing effect of the Lift High the Cross balloon and the positive publicity surrounding the LHTC ministry can be focused to help generate interest and financial support for new mission start-up churches and Lutheran school openings and growth efforts.
